Well I missed a Week.....I guess it was that busy!

Mikayla saw Santa last week and I was for sure that she would cry her eyes out! but to my suprise she was scared but when Sant held her she realized there were candy canes next to him so she sat nice and still. and let me take a few pictures.

She also went on a Merry-Go-Round for the first time....and loved ever second of it.....

and when I put her back in her stroller she kept signing "more" and saying "mow....Moww" meaning More...

She also had her first Oreo Cookie...and loved every second of it!

The first Week of December

My Mikayla gave to me:

1 BIG Head Cold....

and a ringing in my ear of the name "MOMEEEE"

- no really this is what our week as been....but of course we can't forget that I LOVE this time of year!!!!! and we are seeing that Mikayla does as well.

She looked so cute in her little Christmas Party outfit...she was so nice she even posed for a few pictures after a very long night...

She went to a great ward Christmas Party that our new friends Paige & Scott did such a great job in putting together -especially being called at the last minute! Then off to a Baker cousin wedding. Beautifully done and of course the Bride & Groom were adorable http://www.christianandbrooke.com/

Bringing back memories of our own wedding....(minus the stress and family Drama!)

We made it through the first week of Christmas....and oh yeah...I can't forget this!.... Jonathan surprised me a bit when Mikayla and I returned to SLC by taking us to pick out some more Christmas Decorations and Christmas lights for the outside! So we are almost all ready for Christmas.

Thanksgiving is already over!
We had a great time with my family in Seattle this year.

Uncle Braddie came to visit from D.C. , the only ones we missed were Adam and Heather....which hopefully we'll see soon!

The Turkey Dinner was the yummy highlight of the week.

We also went to the Space Needle- which Jonathan and Mikayla had not been to before.Played a few rounds of Settlers of Catan, and sat in traffic for over 8 total hours that I can count. The only saving grace of this was the new van my parents have that has a DVD system in it.....Mikayla learned a new word "Mo-Mo" which in Mikayla means: Nemo. She is in love with the move Finding Nemo. Which has become the new reason to respect our parents....for watching the same movie....over and OVER and OVER again! My Mom and I made and Advent Calendar for Mikayla which was a lot of work! I wish we lived closer so we could do more crafts when Mikayla is taking her naps! Well onto Christmas!

Thanks again to Mom and Dad for the fun week! and of course the 10 trips to the airport for 4 people!
