So I did it....The Mom haircut....or as defined by me.....I went from one extreme to the other.

The Haircut has been a long time coming and yes I trim my hair but I haven't taken off 6 plus inches before at a time so this one was very needed. I have a before and after...so explain myself before you see that the "after" doesn't look greatly styled you have ot know that I am by myself for the week with Mikayla so taking a picture of myself isn't the easiest!

Anyways its warming up a bit down here in Utah and the mud....ummm a whole fun other story to deal with the dogs!....because going around the mudd is just way to easy.....walking through it is much more fun!

Mikayla is still being such a goof so here are a few pictures of her as well in her Valentines Day Dress.

Have a fun week...and if you get bored...email me or call...I'd love to hear from you all!

The big move to Utah is almost done so here are a few memories of the past few weeks...

Mikayla looking ado"red" and clueless that we are leaving her "lovely" brown carpet behind!

Okay...yes I'm sure there are much worse faces and pictures of me than this...seriously but this was taken with our last bag (for a while) of Kearnels Popcorn...and I was beating my husband in the game "chubby bunny" dont worry no pickles for me...JOnathan can't even play this game...so now I have something to back up my no pickles ever theory. By the way...this was also taken after packing all day and having a few moments to ourselves with Mikayla asleep...fun times!

Happy girl with daddy home from work...this is his favorite outfit..Osh-Kosh-BGosh overalls!

This was Mikaylas way of showing that she was helping pack on the last day in Canada.Yummy sock...and of course rolling into a desk!

WE are on the move! At Aunt Charlotte & Uncle Pauls house...Mikayla learned how to slide on the hardwood floors...the best was when she got stuck in a corner and was trying to play with the doggie (Hank) and she was tickling his paws...then she realized that he moved because he didn't want to be bothered and she started screaming.

See look I like sliding...now for the crawling part.... uh oh!

The puppies in their own back yard....well to make a long story short our fence as you can see wasn't able to be put to the ground due to the weather....so Addie "sort of" has a back yard....plus a new 50 foot rope for now! Corrina on the other hand...well she loves being able to chase Addie to the end of his rope and taunt him from just far enough away that he can't get her!

There is a baby in there...she finally realized I had put her in a basket after the last stuffed animal was placed...too bad she can't be as quiet as these animals!

Yummy lunch...Chicken noodles..and pears...and wait....I think there is some room for grahm crackers too. Mikayla loves talking while she is eating now..it is pretty funny.

Corrina also loves it when Mikayla eats...as you can see we have a regular floor sweeper! Well that is until bedtime thats when the real cleaner comes in....I wish there really was a cleaning Gnome! but for now its just mommy when she has time!

This video is of Mikayla and Daddy playing..and to show our friend Greg that there is a time and place that you can toss a baby with out obstructions of ceiling fans.

The last update is the massive -compared to Calgary- snow we've had. Last Sunday we woke up to a 5 foot snow drift in front of our garage so we thought we couldn't get out to go to Stake Confrence...our first Sunday here! WEll we finally shimmied the car into the smaller of the two garages and went out ...down the street and got stuck for 45 minutes in a 2 foot snow. The best part was I was in heals....no gloves/jacket...and had a screaming baby int he back while JOnathan and 2 random neighbor kids came out to help shovel us out....The moral of the story is...sometimes its not worth going to church....Heavenly Father won't be upset if we stay warm/safe and away from crazy snow drifts. So now we have a 5 plus foot pile of snow and growing in our front yard. it seems to never end here!

Last..but not least....is a huge THANK YOU to all of our friends in Calgary that helped Jonathan and My Dad move us down here....as well as a huge help once they got down here of Jonathan's family....His Brother Paul and Sister-in Law Charlotte helped out so much ....I can't even list everything they helped us with on here! Also his Mom and Step-Dad Robert....shoveling the layers of ice off our driveway and installing window blinds! Thanks again for everyone's help we couldn't have done this with out you!

The Challenges of Moving with an Infant....

1. Not being able to pack every box so when they are being unpacked I know where things are.

2. Watching the heard of family move us into our house on a nasty cold, windy, snowy day and not being able to help with out a baby screaming because she is in a new place.
3. No time is "my time" its either the babies....or the houses time.

4. Sleeping in different places that Mikayla isn't use to ....hence....mommy gets no sleep :-(

Positives of MOving with an Infant....

1. No unnessesairy comments about where to put things or what room she is moving into.

2. It could be worse....there could be two of her!

3. I guess watching people unload a huge truck is still better than having to lift the crap out of the truck :-)
