To My Sweetheart on our special day
We have now been married for 6 Years! And yes we have had some big things happen in that short time-
3 big moves3 Colleges- and a Graduation!!!
1 sweet baby girl
and 1 beautiful home of our own!
Thank you for everything you do for me and I hope you enjoy the fun things I've planned for today :-)

Love you Always and Forever!
Pigtails and Babies
My cute little girl let me fix her hair up a few weeks ago...and since then the Pigtails are finally in season. The background to this is from the movie Matilda- where the evil Ms. Trunchbowl swung a little girl around by her braided pigtails....so a stipulation to us having a girl was that I would "NOT" fix our little girls hair like that. So.... I thought I'd test the water and EVERYONE including the husband loves them!

Mikayla looked so grown up the other day when she wanted her pants .....the yellow sweater on...and of course her bear backpack. The funny part is that it was hot outside!!!! but this is what a two year old wants to wear....so this is what she wore! as well as sitting at her own table of course!

Also she has had a weird habit of climbing out of her bed and falling asleep on the chair in her room. So we have found her like this a few times now....doesn't look that comfy to me!

AND....LAST BUT NOT LEAST!!!!!

Mikayla has her First little cousin- named Thomson was born a few days ago and we had the treat of visiting him yesterday. Mikayla loved him and is still talking about him! he was 8lbs 2 oz and 21 inches long!!! so Congrats to her Aunt and Uncle!

I am Definitely TWO!!!!

-Get a very big boo-boo by putting pajamas over her head and running around the house in circles ...and crashing into our banister

The best part is when I realized while was filming that she had dumped all of our apples into the popcorn bowl. to make a nice soggy "copporn" as she calls it.-She loves to Open doors now...meaning not very many full sleep nights anymore :-(

-She throws a pretty mean tantrum....usually while I laugh my head off at how ridiculous she looks

- She loves to color on the dogs, put stickers on them, or try to sit or ride them like a horse

-She calls us by our first names! (lovely)

-She is Binky & Bottle free for 4 days now! and counting- she has found 3 hidden ones since which is fun to "trade" her for something else

-She loves opening the fridge/freezer and telling me "NO... I needs it" usually followed by a total melt down and laying on the floor.

-She loves to wear our shoes.....which is followed by tons of bracelets and jewelry!

The one to top it off..... at her latest doctor apt I was given a few pamphlets on "normal two year old development- and the list included kicking, biting, pinching and screaming.....and yes she as now learned and managed to do all of these.

Bring on the fun!

Birthday Post

Mikayla's bug birthday was a huge success. Mikayla got her first "bike" a pink & purple tricycle. Ladybug games, hats, and bug party favors, ladybug cupcakes and all topped off with a few thousand live ladybugs that the kids got to take home. Did I mention you have to put them in the fridge first to take them out of the baggie? Well Jonathan decided to open them in the house and we had a handful flying in our house for a few minutes.

Next My birthday was actually quite nice. Mikayla and I met up with a good friend and her kids for lunch and some cool birthday gifts. That evening Jonathan and I enjoyed a quiet dinner at a place we haven't been to since we moved back and strolled the Mall. Topped off with my favorite....a yummy ice cream cake! I also was shocked at how nice people were at noticing it was my birthday on face book...I think this one hit me a little harder knowing there is only one more year of being in my twenties! But hey I can't say I've change that much...a few wrinkles and gray hairs.
