Un-Crappy Birthday to Me!

So to put it bluntly it seems that every year I end up having something crazy happen...last year was an unusual one because I was recovering from having Mikayla...but this year.... crazy all around.

Jonathan had the opportunity to go to Australia for work. He seemed to be doing okay when he got there but just had a bit of blotchy swollen legs from the flight. He emailed me a few times telling me that he was having these crazy stomach pains and finally went to an ER down there. So he went and was given a bunch of pain medicine but no answer to why he was feeling so yucky. He flew back to the USA 6 days later and when he got into California he called to tell me that his blotchy legs were now this horrible rash and that if people saw it he wouldn't be allowed to fly home. I picked him up at the airport in SLC and asked him to show me some of this lovely rash......

Well I brought him home and met his Step-Dad who is an ER Doctor...and told us to go get some test done. The freak rash on his legs was also going on in his stomach. So my sweetheart was in a lot of pain and incredibly jet-lagged! He was given some pain medicine and sent home by this time it was May 21....So I decided to forgo being happy I was a year older...and realized Jonathan was not doing so well. We had planned a trip to Seattle the next day so I was on the phone with Doctors....and Airlines for most of the morning. Cancelling flights and trying to get him to see a specialist ASAP.

So to make this more stressful long story (that is still ongoing)short...We re-booked the trip and went to Seattle for a fun little vacation.

My little brother Adam and his girlfriend Heather were there as well so we had a fun few days with most of the fam.....of course we were missing our "Braddie" the whole time but hopefully he can come next time!

This is Mikayla and Me and Deception Pass right outside of where my Mom grew up on Whidbey Island Washington.

Mikayla and Uncle Ryan in the Cold Northwestern waters....the first time in the Ocean!

And of course the Happy Family...I loved this day because the weather was perfect!
